Elexir Acoustic Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze Reviews 5

This is elixir's newest acoustic string. It is a phosphor bronze in the thinner nanoweb coating.

I was already an elixir fan, but when I heard they were coming out with a phosphor bronze string, I bought a set the day they hit the music store.

I play medium/light gauge (medium on bottom and lights on top) which gives you a 54 for the low E. The bass is big and boomy. The clarity is second to none. The best thing about these strings is they last a long time.

The coating has little imperfections which doesn't effect the string, but have to be worn off.

The quality is very good which helps the strings to last so long. They could do a better job with the coating.

They are simply the best strings I have tried and make my guitar sound as good as it can. Some people say the coating makes the strings too slick but I am used to it. The strings are a little pricey as well, but they pay for themselves with how long they last. Simply a great guitar string.
